Lucinda Point Hotel/Motel - Lucinda
Lucinda Point Hotel/Motel is a family friendly hotel located on the corner of Keast St and Dungeness Rd Lucinda about 20klm north of Ingham in Nth Queensland.
Lucinda is also home to the longest service Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere stretching straight out into the Coral sea 5.76 kilometres.
I play there one Saturday a month out the back in the outdoorsy restaurant area usually to quite a big semi rowdy crowd of weekend getaway punters searching for a good feed, cheaper priced drinks and a great fishing experience.
Also worth mentioning is the Halifax township 9klm up the road. There is a Sper supermarket there which is quite good.
The Halifax Hotel which has recently reopened after renovations. Right next to the hotel is a little cafe that has an open mic every Thursday night.
